By Myself intro: love it or hate it?

    Personally, I love the intro to By Myself off Live In Texas/LPU 3. I'm always in awe at the clash of the mellowness of Brad's intro and what he plays throughout the rest of the song.

    Anyone else?

    Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I also like Mike doing the bridge prior to it. I should watch this DVD in the near future. Maybe on my next car trip...

    I too enjoy the intro on Live In Texas, and Mike's soft vocals on the intro.

    There's never been any disagreement here about whether that intro is awesome or not. ;P

    And "By Myself" is my favourite song off "Hybrid Theory", so, yeah, I love it.

    Well, the song itself took a lot of getting used to in my early LP listening years. It's one of the nastiest riffs in any LP song.
