LPA Awards: 2010/2011

Welcome to the 2010/2011 LPA Awards! It's that time of year again where we take the time to celebrate the people that make the LPAssociation such a great place to hang out! It's been a very busy year on the LPA and it's now time to have your say on who you think deserves their respective awards!

This year there are a couple of changes, so if this is your first time attending, or you're a veteran LPA'er, make sure you check out the rules below!

• Voters Must Have 50 Posts Or More To Vote
• There Is NO Expected Join Date - As Long As You Have 50 Posts; You Can Vote
• You Must Vote In Every Category
• Please Only One Submission Per Category
• Staff & Members Are Eligible For ALL Categories Unless Stated Otherwise
• Voters Must Submit Their Nominees TO ME Via PM by - December 1st 2010

Favourite LPA Member // Who is the member you can't live without? This is the sequel you can't wait to play, and keeps you up all night when you should be working! It's also the reason your girlfriend / boyfriend is annoyed at you because you're always talking about how awesome this is. You guys would pwn in Co-Op!




Favourite Staff Member // Who is the Staff Member you look up to? Who is the King of your Albion? The Master Chief flying your Pelican? This is the Mod/Admin you know can handle it when shit goes down! ...and the one you would Co-Op with to take down that final boss on Legendary!




Most Intelligent Member// Who's the member who knows the tactics to get through? This person would shit on the Piano Puzzle in Silent Hill and wouldn't think twice about kneeling down in the corner of the screen, waiting for a tornado to carry them away. Because they JUST KNOW.




Most Funniest Member// Who brightens up your day and always makes you smile? This is the character who will keep you laughing at one liners whilst turning aliens to mush. They have more witty quips than Duke Nukem has ladies. Hail to the King, baby!




Most Random Member// Who is the member who does and says the most randomest things? They don't make much sense and say some crazy shit, but their Oddworld is part of your Oddysee. They make about as much sense as Waluigi thrusting his crotch after Game, Set, Match.




Most Controversial Member// Did they just actually say that? This time you're voting for the member who is on the borderline of the ban hammer, the one who keeps it about as clean as Hot Coffee. They don't care what you think because they're just bad to the ass.




Most Missed Member// They've been and gone. This is not for "banned" members, this is for the ones who just don't show up anymore. One minute they're driving fork lifts, chasing Wong through the alley and running away from transsexual chainsaw wielding maniacs... the next? They're just gone.




Most Attractive Members// You've been putting pillow's over your lap whilst playing as Yuna for years. You always lose in Tekken Tag Tournament because you'd rather pick the hot charcters rather than the good ones. You met them on the LPA, you've got to know them... who is your Lara or Blanka?

• One Vote Per Person for either Most Attractive Male or Most Attractive Female, please do not send one for both.

Most Creative Member// They always look the coolest and have the best weapons. Their customized character shits all over yours. Who is the member who is the most creative? Do they make awesome music? games? photos? art? videos? Maybe they just pwn in everything.




Most Dedicated Member// Who gives back to the LPA the most? Who is always on, and helps out a lot around the site? This person stays up all hours to chat with other members and posts a lot. You can bet your final mushroom that this member will be nailing Princess Peach at some point because of their hard work. Or Mario...




Favourite Newbie// They've not been around long, but they have definitely made themselves known. They started off new, but are now one of our own. These guys wouldn't feel out of place in Bright Falls, because they're cool to have around!

Member You Would Most Like To Meet// You would love to be Left 4 Dead with this person. Frying panning zombies in the face with this person would be awesome! You've probably been communicating via codec with this person for a while now, or you think you would be the Kane & Lynch of awesomeness if you hung out together.




Best Thread// This was the best forum topic ever! You had the most fun in this topic and if you could have infinite lives in this bad boy, you would! What thread made you laugh, cry or feel good. You had as much fun posting in here as you did making John Marsdon have a fist fight with a Grizzly Bear.




Best Smilie// NEW FOR THIS YEAR! You've seen them, you've posted them! Now you vote for them! Which smilie always grabs your attention? You better believe it's awesome, because when you come to Brazil you'll be screaming Flugen whilst Seaman is Nowhere Near Berlin. What the fuck did you do last night? You voted in this category ofcourse.

Haha this is great, I'll be voting for sure. The hardest category is the smilie one...can we vote for two? lol jk

 

We encourage new people to still vote as long as they have 50 posts. If you're not sure yet, pay close attention over the next few weeks and then vote once you come to a consensus (Before Dec 1st). We want everyone to participate. New and old .

 

Great idea but how can we vote for most missed member when we are LPA noobs?

 

Write "new member, cannot vote in this category" when voting.
