I was thinking about having the LPA making a live compilation album of every song Linkin Park played live. If anyone's up for it, think of some ideas we can do.
It dosen't matter. I wanted to get live every live song from Hybrid Theory to A Thousand Suns in order.
Ah I get what you're saying, good idea However some songs are very rare to find live (Hit The Floor for example)
Impossible. Half of the live audio is DSP. Some shows haven't been recorded, some of the audio may have been lost.
Maybe, like, one live recording of every song that has ever been played live ... save for songs like "Hit The Floor" where we have no pro-shot recordings, it could work.
That's pretty much what I wanted, just one live recording of the song. And we can just put them in order from HT to ATS and also have B-sides that they performed live.
Let's do it! It's gonna be a fun ride looking for Hit The Floor This could take some time considering we're still waiting for BITS, Blackout, and Robot Boy.
This could be easy, but the tough part is deciding which song sounds better. Example: Papercut BBC 2001 vs. Papercut Live In Texas 2003 vs. Papercut 2008 Road To Revolution vs. Papercut (random dsp)
True, but shows such as Rock Am Ring are well known the fan base as the band's greatest performances. You could just get most of songs from there. But the rule of thumb is the earlier, the better (for the most part). Also in order to do this, it would have to be non professional recordings or else we're giving away illegal music (such as anything from Live in Texas/RTR/random DSP)
I have a bunch of LP live recordings. So all we need to do is get a basic idea of all the songs they played live. They play all of HT, Meteora, MTM, and some B-sides. Would you want to include the different version of POA with the different intros?
Okay, I'm going to start working on it tomorrow. I have band and play rehearsels all day. If you guys have a recording of FRGT/10 live whenever they played it at that Music for Relief event send it to my email, [email protected]
1. Get a list of ALL Linkin Park songs ever. 2. Find all the BEST performances of the songs they have played. 3. Download them, and place them in a folder. 4. Put the folder in a .ZIP file and upload it. I think thats what you had planned, right?
Oh damn. I didn't read his post fully, so I actually misunderstood what he was saying. Sorry about that. Fixed.
