I got my 360 back from MS today! YAY! I hope the hardware failures are behind me now and I can enjoy gaming on it without worrying.

Bonnaroo will be the last US tour date for a few years. Also, 'Roo tickets are closer to $300 after taxes. I should know

It's worth it if you like drugs, being around cool as shit people and listening to great bands. My schedule for that weekend is jampacked full of great bands (example: my Sunday schedule is Dillinger Escape Plan > Shadows Fall > Coheed & Cambria all back to back).

 

So I take it they're not totally and completely forever done? If that's the case, then I think I'll just wait till the next US tour, because that would be kickass, no doubt.

I forgot about taxes. Fucking government.

Shiiit. Now I know I'm missing out. That's a fucking epic lineup. And it's all back to back. Sheez.

 

They aren't forever "broken up" or whatever. It's an indefinite hiatus. I mean, the longest period of time TR has stayed away from NIN has been like, 3 or 4 years I think. The taxes on the ticket isn't that bad. There's a $1 charitable donation, a fee that gets paid to Coffee County, etc. But, yes, it all ends up back with the government, which is unfortunate.

I still can't get over the fact that I missed NIN and Jane's Addiction at the Cruzan on the 8th.

 

Iain, are you going to try to make the Tori Amos shows in Florida?

I want to go to the one near me, but its in Oakland, and its not the best place to be at all, especially after dark.

 

I can't get over the fact that I missed The Prodigy thanks to my older brother who didn't tell me that he was going.

 

She's in Orlando on July 28, and in Miami on July 29, and I don't know if either of them are on sale yet. I'd like to go to the Orlando show, because I'm more familiar with the area, but I don't know if I'll have the money to get the tickets. I should, but it all depends on whether or not this guy actually wants me to do his lawns for him or not.

What I should do is go down to the fast food places on the corner tomorrow, pick up some applications, fill them out, and find a way to get the money for a state ID, so that I can get a job.

That's happened to me so many times. Not the same way, but still. It sucks.
