Hi guys ! I know there's a lot of people (including me) that didn't like RECHARGED at all, so I was thinking... what would be your version of the album? Make a tracklist of your favs remixes from LT songs, including ALTNC. It doesn't matter if its EDM, Rock, Acoustic, or whatever. You can use the "Reliving Things" tracks as well. Just make the album you'd love to hear !
Haha that's an amazing album, I love it. But the idea is to do your own version, you can use those remixes too, or all of them if you want haha. But there should be another remix you like out there
This tracklist makes for a better listen, and makes it feel like a decent successor to Reanimation, IMO.
If only Reliving Things wasn't god awful then I'd have to agree. Wait do I get an infraction for having an opinion? My track list would be the same Recharged track list we were given. As amazing as Reanimation is, it does sound a bit dated. I'd prefer some more underground guests on Recharged but it's 2014 (2013) and electronic dance music has taken over the radio. Not only that but the band's direction from 2009-2013 has been more electronic influenced so it only made sense to get house, dubstep, DnB, and ambient remixes of Living Things. I would prefer a different remix of Victimized considering that was laughable at best but hey.
Saying Reliving Things is awful here is like walking into the studio while LP are there and saying ''LIVING THINGS fucking sucks!''
It's fine to hold that opinion. Just find a way to express it without being a passive-aggressive dick.
I think I prefer Recharged to Reliving Things, but I've only heard the latter two times so maybe I'm not competent enough to judge.
If I remember correctly, Reanimation actually had the guests contribute considerably to the creation of the songs right? Seems like on Recharged, anyone that wasn't Steve Aoki seemed to just pop in for a little appearance and was gone. I mean for all I know none of that's true, Reanimation they could have been involved as much/even less than they were on recharged, but whatever they did the first time should have been done the second. Genre jumping, also done perfectly on Reanimation, would have helped. Recharged was literally wubwubwubwub and electronica, which gets super fucking obnoxious after a while.
