Linkin Park to Perform at MTV VMA03's

    According to a commercial on MTV, Linkin Park will be performing at the 2003 MTV Music Video Awards, set to air on August 28th on MTV. Other bands who are performing are Beyoncé Knowles, Metallica, 50 Cent, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, Christina Aguilera and Mary J. Blige.

    Note: MTV.com is sometimes slow updating their website, which explains why it has not yet been confirmed on the official website. Numerous reports on both these forums and the official LP.com message board have alleged that they have seen a commercial which says that Linkin Park are performing. Treat this with haste as a reality.

    Maybe Mtv didn't update the site yet?
    I hope they are performing. They're better than everyone on the list.

    Um, Linkin Park aren't listed on MTV.com as a performer still. I'm starting to doubt this.

    MTV are slow to update everything. In 2001, LP were added in the last 1-1.5 weeks before the show was taped and they didn't tell anyone until 3 days before or something like that.

    Thatd be cool. Or they could surprise and confuse everyone by playing like Figure.09 or something, thatd be sweet.
