hey ppl! does somebody knos why from the inside and its going down didnt appeared on mtv/mtv2??? in the premiere of mtv they played the music video but from then i havent seen them on tv...why? :wth:
It's Goin' Down is on MTV from time to time, just not often because The X-Ecutioners aren't a hugely popular group. From the Inside wasn't shown on TV in North America, same with Papercut.
I dont think From the Inside is about the army . I think the video is just a way to show the feeling whatever it is.
There's the reason why I just recently saw From the Inside And yeah, I see Its Goin Down on MTV sometimes... On MPEG, I have the Papercut video on MTV. Don't know if it was American MTV or European MTV. Heres a picture: http://www.geocities.com/uahahn2/papercut.jpg
Well Papercut was shown on American MTV once, during a Linkin Park Family Values tour special, so maybe that's where it was ripped.
neither from From The Inside or It's goin' Down are ever on the tv apart from extremely rare times when the channel can't find anything else to play...i'm not really suprised that the videos aren't on mtv though, 'co there is barely ANY music on mtv now...mtvhits n mtv2 have taken over, hmmm....
The idea behind the FTI video was that the song starts slowly but with mass chaos and rioting in the background of the scene. The small boy represents lonliness and innocence. When the song comes to the climax, the boy screams loud enough that everyone on the scene is knocked to the floor (haha hit the floor! *cough* ermm...sorry) this represents the release of energy that had been building up during the song. So in a sense I guess taht the message is that size does not account for power (or something of that nature, meh)
I'd just like to add that from the inside was released as an international single thats why its video wasn't released/shown in north america.
Call me clueless, but what is the point in releasing singles in some places and not in others?
Well I remember reading on the internet that the single was a thank you to their fans on the international scene.
Correction: From The Inside was never released as a single,it was just a promotional video
Yes it was, I have the CD single sitting right in front of me. It was a CD single in Australia and a digital single in the UK.
