In an interview with the Brazilian leg of the Fort Minor website, Cheapshot (formely featured on Reanimation's 'Papercut') speaks about the new album, touring in Europe, and working with Mike. On 'The Rising Tied': "In my mind, it's the perfect record. Every track has a different feeling to it. Mike is an all-around talented dude. He's also smart. The people he chose to be on the album are all amazing themselves, and all credible musicians. There's nothing fake on this record!" On his apperances: "Styles of Beyond actually recorded 14 songs with Mike during the recording process of "The Rising Tied." After picking and choosing the final songs, Styles of Beyond will appear on 6 songs on the album." Click here to read the entire interview. Also noteworthy, a recent search through Amazon.com's database reveals an album by Sunny Day Real Estate entitled 'The Rising Tide', released in 2000. Another album by Sunny Day is rumored to be the favorite album of Brad Delson, who served as a creative consultant for Mike's new record. Coincidence?
So six songs are gonna have the same artists? I guess Fort Minor is supposed to kinda be like G-Unit then.
Well, Ryu and Tak are on Petrified but they don't play much of a Part. If this was just Mike, wouldn't he just go as Mike Shinoda?
