I would really like LP to start working with other artist, I think a big reason LP is "losing" there fanbase is because 1) they don't release quick enough, and 2) because they dont work with other artist, aside from collision course, so I was wondering who you would like LP to work with. I personally want them to work with kid cudi, I think they would match up perfectly together. Like LP cudi doesn't want to stick to the same sound and has said that as a artist he wants to push his musical boundaries and experiment and also is starting to form a rock band
Does Linkin Park read the forums? Chris Cornell & MF Doom And they should do a 'Reanimation' album for A Thousand Suns
I'd say they are working with quite a bit of artists during this album cycle with all of the remixes we have been getting. As far as a collab would go though, I would at least like to have Mike do a track with the Beastie Boys, Nas, or Sir Mixalot (just for teh lulz ).
Eminem would be awesome. I would also like LP to collaborate with a female artist, that would be interesting. How about Skylar Grey?
The Glitch Mob, InnerpartySystem, She, Animaniguchi, Edit, Swan, Metric, The Shins, The Postal Service, Broken Bells.. among others.
Really? The band's losing their fans 'cause they choose to be the only performers on their own songs? ;"
I disagree to everyone who has suggested Eminem. Especially after seeing that "Eminem vs Mike Shinoda" thread aeons ago on here.
Glitch Mob preferably or anything instrumental. Paramore I don't think would blend so well with Linkin Park tbh, same goes for Eminem.
Simple solution to everyone's problems with Eminem: keep Mike away from the vocals for that song. Or at least just the rapping. I'm not hating on Mike at all, but we don't NEED him in every song, especially not in one that represents another rapper of a possibly higher caliber. On that note, a female vocalist would probably be amazing as well on a song. Hayley Williams of Paramore sticks out immediately, but of course there are alternatives.
