Pretty disgraceful considering he was the one who got himself fired from the band. What a joke.
This is just as bad, if not worse, than Courtney Love hiring a hype man to have the crowd chant "The Foo Fighters are gay."
LP management aren't going to go after him just cause he led a crowd in a fuck you Chester chant. Come on now, don't be silly. They have far bigger issues to deal with. At worst Scott just guaranteed that he'll never return to STP and that his friendship with Chester is over. Also, this could potentially be admitted against him in the lawsuit (as the suit alleges he showed up to shows drunk, which he clearly is in this clip). But that's about it.
In a funny twist, he was so fucked up at that concert reportedly that he could only do 6 songs before being helped off the stage cause he couldn't get off of it himself. The crowd was pissed, and yet this SAME crowd thinks that he should be the lead singer of STP? That in his current state he'd be a good contribution to the STP legacy? These idiots can get fucked. Scott is so far gone that he's dug himself a hole that's near impossible to get out of. I admired his voice, but he has completely disrespected a band I grew up with and loved. Chester may not sing the songs exactly the same as Scott, but at least I know the band is safer in his hands than Scott's.
Fuck him. Fuck him, above all else, because of Chester. How Chester feels. How he, the singer of one of Chester's favorite bands from his youth, is bitching him. Fuck Scott Weiland.
I'm not even gonna bother one insulting that guy or anything. Alcohol and drugs have totally fucked up his personnality and mind, and at current time, he's probably not even aware of himselve anymore. There's no way he would have fucked up his life and career that much otherwise. That dude needs a rehab above anything else. And a very strong one.
What an idiot. At this point he should be more worried about himself and taking a stand instead of pining his responsabilities into somebody else's shoulders and refusing to accept the consequences of his actions. What I find sad is seeing those guys who go on stage with Scott watch him make an embarrassment of himself and even worse, they "nod" when he starts blabbing? Come on guys, aren't you even concerned in the slightest bit? That man is in deplorable state, I don't know how he's even allowed to perform at any venue. I'd rather give my money to one of those talented people who happen to be homeless and play music or sing just to buy the little bit of food that gets them through the day.
Actually he did finish the show, but the reviewers said he was not very good. This is what he said: "It’s just a big ‘ol planet, a big ‘ol universe and in a big circle it all works out. Anyway … Actually Chester has his own band that makes a lot of money. I’m not really quite sure why he joined a band who is actually nameless....The problem is I shouldn’t have said anything at all and I apologize to those fans out there who are, feel like they’re caught in the middle of it, cause I sure feel like I’m caught in the middle of it emotionally and all I want to do is play music man."
oh well Scott deserved what he got. for him to say anything after the reunion of STP with chaz makes him look like a complete idiot. what is this loser trying to prove anyway
