Yeah, I agree that's abit to much, even for someone like me.

We have that much, but I'm not letting them pay that much for a ######'' school.

It's just like Driving School. The one here during Summer/Fall is $300. It's insane.

2003 Harvard Tuitions Fees (1st Year): over $37,000 :chemist:

In Ontario where I live, for the first year most universities offer tuition fees between $6,000-$10,000. Most of the biggest universities are about $7-8K for the first year. But living expenses are usually around $20K a year, could you make 20K in year? two years? five years? It would be hard to do on a MacJob thats for sure

Dude, for the total amount you pay to go to college, you can buy yourself a nice, cozy house and your shelter would be set.

im 13, and i want to become a language teacher. i will have to go to uni and stuff, and the cost is worrying me. i can understand why we have to pay, but it shouldnt be ridiculously high.
as well as earning a living, a job benefits society. if there is a skilled worker out there, but cant afford the qualifications, thats a shame IMO.

Plenty of European nations manage to do it, I'm sure we could if we made the effort and were willing to sacrifice.

Americans pay more for college fee than us Brits. :p I think the US government should adopt this policy: if people can afford it, they should pay for it. If they can't, they don't have to. Here, students whose family has a low income can take out a loan. Even though they have to repay it in the future, it's better than nothing. :wth:

i think that people should pay for a good college, but if they want to go to a community college or something like that then they should not have to pay. community colleges are expensive...
university of delaware is 23,094$ a year, and i definitely dont have that money, and my parents aren't paying, and it is a state college. that is just too much money, imo.
