For whatever reason it bugged the hell out of me that all of these were just dumb pictures of either them or buildings. "But but anything can be artwork..." I know, but it'd have been sweet if they at least considered some form of unique and custom painting instead.
I think this album would have been better received by the "true" fans if they had used the twilight-colored artwork. They really painted themselves as "edgy" with that black-silhouette-on-white-background cover, misleading fans to believe they were still writing One Step Closer and Faint.
Awesome alternate covers. I prefer the city ones, and the stairs ones to the looking out at the beach ones.
I just noticed that the sixth cover is noticeable similar to The Killers album "Day & Age". It might be a coincidence or maybe inspiration, I'm not sure which.
