Hey does anybody know anything about the special extended version of the Two Towers? I heard it was supposed to be like 44 minutes longer or something, but the source i heard form wasn't very reliable. So if anybody has heard anything please share. Plus does anybody know a release date.
Lol, yes WAY too friendly. Especially Sam R Diddy do you mean the extended edition of the dvd? Like the FotR one that had 4 discs? If you mean that the extended TTT dvd is coming out in November.
It'll be coming out around the same time as the Extended FotR one, sometime in November, I think. Don't quote me on that though ^^ LOL yes my sister and I kept whispering slash jokes every time Sam was "jealous" around Gollum.

Well you gotta remember, that stuff was pretty much accepted in the 50's and 60's when these books first came out.
I can't wait to get TTT on DVD. I wanna see the video for "Gollum's Song" so badly! Apparently at Best Buy they were opening at midnight like the bookstores did for Harry Potter. Wow... Tolkien was also writing this around the time World War II was going on, and there is a lot of symbolism with the alliances and stuff. But remember, the context of Frodo being naked in the story is a believable one. I doubt they'll actually show him naked to keep the PG-13 rating...although i'm sure some girls wouldn't mind *shakes head*
I was checking out theonering.net and they said that on E! Entertainment they showed a preview of ROTK. It premiered yesterday evening. Too bad for all who missed it.
That preview trailer for RotK has been released... at least its on the internet. Search google for the trailer and it will come up. Perhaps its been leaked, i dunno, but it is out.
Well I got the Widescreen edition of the Two Towers on dvd, and its amazing! the RoTK preview is pretty cool even though it mainly focuses on the Battle of Pelennor Fields, the Gollum's Song video is pretty sweet too......and the movie kicks ass!

The 3-minute trailer will appear before showings of Secondhand Lions, beginning Sept. 26. Lions actually opens Sept. 19 but the trailer won't be in theaters until its second weekend. The word is the trailer will feature almost entirely new footage and that it could appear online before it hits theaters. The trailer is going to be released online this Monday Sept. 29.
You can now download the first Return of the King trailer here, but since so many people are downloading it at once, it might take a few tries before you actually get it.....but be patient, it is WELL worth the wait, BELIEVE ME Edit: SPOILERS!!
