I think someday we'll all look back on this time and laugh even harder at those who thought this album was gonna be techno.

Everything the band has said points to the album not really having a uniform sound.

So...sure maybe The Catalyst will be heavily influenced by electronic elements, but why would we judge the whole album based on this song, given what the band/previews have stated?

Agreed. I love the feeling I have right now. The feeling of just having no clue what ATS will sound like! Now with Mike singing, it just brings a whole new element to LP's music. I wonder if there will be a song with Mike singing and rapping and Chester singing soft and screaming. It could happen in theory! Has there ever been progressive music with rap in it or with 2 different singers for that matter? I don't know my prog history lol.

Prog is too ambiguous of a word to describe music in my opinion. I mean, Rush, Coheed, Opeth, Tool, and Between The Buried and Me have all been labelled prog bands and none of them sound all that alike except for maybe Rush and Coheed.

Akira, what I want to know is.

When you woke up this morning, what made you think today would be the day you would post bullshit?

Did you really think we wouldn't be able to catch you in the act? Or you thought by doing this, you would be respected on these boards?

There's no chance of that happening now my friend :sweating:
