Thanks. Good thing I got the song when I did. I was on another computer but thought this might happen so I downloaded it and emailled it to myself. Thanks a lot.

    Haha!
I did sorta' the same thing.
I downloaded it just before it got taken off,
because I was thinking something like this would happen.
I sent a copy to my mp3 player and a copy to my
    flash drive.
Stuff like this ALWAYS happens to pre-release tracks.:closedeye

    ^^ In your opinion.

Personally I not only like his vocals better in this, but think his voice has matured a lot. He isn't getting weaker with age which is amazing!

    Derek, don't be defensive :p

In fact, I agree as well. This version has all the emotion ripped out of it.

Awww, you just gotta be willing to party Omar!

But yeah, the real version is supposed to be way more emotional apparently.

Did anybody actually find the cd? I downloaded the song, but I wanted to support the music. I went to Target and Best Buy when they opened this morning and I didn't see it at either outlet. I can't buy stuff online anymore either so...

Well if you listen to most of the other remixes on the album, they are all industrialized compared to the original versions and they sound completely different. So I'd say it's safe to bet that this is a lot different than the album version.

This is poppish? ... this is not by today's standards anywhere near pop.

Compare this with the videos you see on Fuse/MTV... Nine Inch Nails is the only popular band that even sounds close to this.

I'd like some of what you're smoking, man.

I like the remix, but only on a "party" level, sounds like it would be a good tune to play on a night out.

Thank God I got this song before it was removed. This song is great! I heard the live version and i must admit i was a bit disappointed, but after hearing this song i'm so excited for Chesters solo album. Its going to be great! Go LP and thanks LPA for the song :)

    *cough* PM me *cough cough*

i dont think it sounds poppish but it does sound different... but i dont mind if the album version isnt too different to this..

I like how the strings kick in at the end.. its a very nice touch :D i wonder if the album version is all acousticy string-like?

Totally agree with you there mate. Here's hoping the next LP album will be unique, with Shinoda co-producing it should be! I'm just still a little worried as to who the other producer will be.

im sure you dont have to worry too much about the other producer... we've all seen the Collision Course DVD and we know how Mike takes control of getting what he wants out.. he proves that with JayZ

Even if this new album sounds Reanimationish id be happy :)

I believe it's "Alive and not dreamin'....."

You know, the song is about the angst of his dreams to "one day make it in the music business..." - So he's making the correlation between sleeping dreams / goal-dreams. So the peace he finds is living his dreams in his dreams. Correct me if I'm wrong.
