This is why Mike discussed in a few interviews as to why they no longer give members "roles" in the band in the liner notes of the album, like they did on the first two albums.
This is impossible to say. For all we know, Mike played the guitar solo on In Pieces, Phoenix could have written vocals on any of the songs, ect. Anybody in this band could have the highlight on any song on any of their albums.
Shinoda stands tall on everything besides M2M. Which is coincidentally my least favorite LP album by miles. Also where was Hahn on M2M? That's what made me hate the album from the outset. Mike and Hahn we so hidden in that album it shouldn't have even been called Linkin Park. It was a Chester solo album (And actually would been awesome if done as one with LP member features) My hate for M2M has lessoned as I've grown older though, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Brad- Everything but Living Things and ATS to an extent. He does other things live that I love during ATS songs however. LT not enough growth. Rob- He's been killing it lately. Starting with M2M he began opening up a bit. (Don't get me started on the percussion boredom that is What i've Done though) Hahn- The nu-metal albums wouldn't sound ANYWHERE NEAR as perfect if it wasn't for his signature LP scratching. Took a vacation for M2M. Came back powerful for ATS. More background for LT but still Hahn) Chester- I can't really say I've ever not been happy with Chester. He's my favorite rock vocalist by a mile. I love his growth as a singer over the years. I love his voice on all of the albums.
Ht: Chester Bennington Meteora: Rob Bourdon Mtm: Brad Delson ATS: Mike Shinoda/Joe Hahn (I chose both because they both did most of all the electronic sounds and synths) LT: Dave "Pheonix" Farrel
Hybrid Theory is best for Hahn Meteora is best for Chester and Mike equally because they were like a team in this record Minutes to Midnight is best for Brad specifically for the solos in the last two tracks A Thousand Suns best for Chester because of his vocals Living Things is best for Rob Bourdon because of the insane head bopping drum bangs im Victimized, the drum march in In My Remains, this man is a legend on this record
