Hey i was just listening to a band called Tantric today and it really reminded me of all the one hit wonders that are out there. They have a song that is called Breakdown and was a huge hit. You can also find it on Big Shiny Tunes 6. This song was probably a hit about three anda holf to four years ago. Since then i havn't heard anything from Tantric or likewise anything about them. So yah i thought i would start a thread to find out about other one hit wonders that you just can't get enough of.

As much as I hate to admit it, Crazy Town (my second favorite band) seems to be a one-hit wonder with their song Butterfly. Their new stuff just hasn't seemed to catch on and now they don't even have a label since them and Sony went seperate ways.

Some bands like Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Blindside, 30 Seconds To Mars... I don't want to think of them as one-hit wonders, but I think they are. They're not as popular as they should be. They're amazing bands. I know I'll be buying their new CDs when they come out, but I doubt they'll get the sales they deserve.

There are always bands I wish (like Will said) weren't a 'one hit wonder'. But then I realize and think... Thank God songs like "Mombo Number Five" were one hit wonders and that guy disappeared .

The "Thong Song" was the only decent song he ever made, and everything after that is horrible.
