So, I recently bought these guys 2nd album, and I've been loving it for the last month or so. Favourite tracks are probably Dry the River, Plenty Strong and Plenty Wrong, Death is an Alcoholic and Raised by the Tide. But they all rock. Anyone else a fan? Also, is their first album worth getting?
They're not bad. I still prefer ETID, He Is Legend and Cancer Bats when it comes to music along those lines though.
Haha there definitely aren't too many. Off the top of my head there's the bands mentioned so far in this thread, The Holly Springs Disaster, and other than that I guess it's mainly bands that just have an element of it in their sound, eg The Bronx, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Gallows, Atreyu's last album. Possibly Dead Swans.
Seemless are awesome. I got the first album, have only listened to it a couple of times, although atm I have to say I'm prefering their second album.
36 Crazyfists and A Static Lullaby's new albums have a couple songs with a bit of southern influence. But yeah, there needs to be more of the ETID, He Is Legend, Maylene, Cancer Bats style of hardcore music. Edit: Fight Paris are another southern hardcore band, i just remembered. Not tooooo good though
