I saw this yesterday. It looked freaking awesome. The maps look great! And long-live the assault rifle. Sadly, I didn't make it into the beta. Can't wait to see more footage, though.
Yeah, I got my Crackdown like, a week or so ago and it came with a "Halo 3 beta" card inside. So I'm sure you can still get the whole "beta" thing via Crackdown. If not, eh, Crackdown's a great game that should hold you over until Halo 3 is released. The video looks great though.
Coughed up 50 bucks to get into the beta as well lol. I guess the X button is to deploy shit such as gravity pads, Land mines and the bubble shield which will change a lot of the game play. I really like how it has a Halo 1 vibe to it, maybe because of the good old AR and I doubt they will ever bring back the pistol lol. I just really hope its better than Halo 2 game play wise.
