I imagine those e-mails roll out in about an hour. Received my Wastelands download at 9:07 the other night.
Wow this song is awesome. They definitely should make a music video for it. God, their promotion for this album is so poor. And am I the only one who think this sounds like a metal version of Castle Of Glass?
Some dude at Youtube answered me this after I said that this song was heavier than By Myself: "dude.. Loud doesnt mean heavy. This song is louder than the most tracks theyve recently released. But it lacks the dynamic and aggressiveness from the early records. Those tracks were far more heavy and dynamic. The drums suddenly became repetetive. The riffs are dumbed down. Sure it might appear heavy if you compare it to Burn it Down for example. But listen to the drums of Faint. Listen to the Riffs of No More Sorrow or One Step Closer. The tuning on Papercut or Hit the Floor... Those were heavy tracks. This is Pop."
The iTunes quality is better. No doubt. But on another note, all these emails and issues you guys are having, do not affect me, because I don't preorder my albums. If I do, I have problems, so I say "fuck it, I'll buy whatever's available, and buy the rest when the album drops." hahahahahahaha
LOL yeah right, Brad is modern guitar god, and System Of A Down is pop bullshit Seriously, there are so many idiots on Youtube to facepalm about.
I had this song so hyped up. My all-time favorite musician collaborating with one of my favorite bands? Fuck yeah! This not only met that hype but blew it out of the fucking water. This is exactly how I would want a new SOAD album to sound if/when they get around to making one. 3005/10 rating from me
I enjoy the one where someone says this is the first screaming they've heard from them in years. Hahahaha! XD Someone lives under a rock.
This song is awesome! Rob, Brad and Mike really stepped up a notch here, and Daron's guitar is amazing! It's so fantastic that Brad and Mike's gonna screw this up live for sure!!! Brad's been pretty inconsistent with fast riffs live and Mike struggles to sing live, even for a song as easy to sing as "Blackout".
Rebellion rocks. I was going to pass listening, but just caved in. Damn I dig Mike's voice! Really makes the verses click.
Sorry for posting so much in this thread, but Rob needs more credit. Dude has delivered big time #moderndaydrumgod
Rebellion appears to be the best LP song instrumentally, at least at this point. I really love it ! I'm also glad that they decided to release more music before the premiere of the album. I wonder if they play this song tomorrow at their show in Wrocław. (Probably they won't, but who knows...)
