For the many fans who will be unable to see Linkin Park perform live in Philadelphia on July 2nd for the Live 8 concert series, AOLMusic.com will be broadcasting the entire event live via webcast. Linkin Park are set to perform along the likes of Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Bon Jovi, P. Diddy, Rob Thomas, Sarah McLachlan, Stevie Wonder, Kaiser Chiefs, and Keith Urban for the event to raise awareness about poverty in Africa. Alongside the Philadelphia show, confirmed concerts in Rome, Paris, Berlin, and London will be occuring. In addition, shows are reportedly supposed to take place in Toronto, Tokyo, Edinburgh, and Johannesburg during the same day. For lineups of the five confirmed cities, and the apparently soon to be confirmed other four shows, be sure to keep checking the official Live 8 website. Check back for showtimes and performing slots as they are announced. Thanks to Tasta!
Just to make it clear, AOL is webcasting all 5 concerts simultaneously on the 2nd, so if there's someone performing outside of Philly you wanna watch, you can catch that too.
Sounds good, it'll be like Rock'Am'Ring 2004 all over again. People giving play by play commentary as it happens.
Sweet! I haven't seen them in so long :chaz: (and I don't have the money to go on a road trip or else I would)
Great to hear that AOL broadcasts it online... So maybe somebody can record it and then share this gig with other fans like me who have a crappy lame connection and aren't able to watch it?
I'm sorry but what time does this thing start at, I couldn't find it in the post. Also, is there any idea of when LP will be performing?
