I was just thinking to myself... I don't even think it's worth joining the LPU anymore. The merch that you get has pretty much gone downhill, and there's always problems with shipping, and many other things. The teenies are starting to get to it, and LPU is becoming too mainstream. Any comments to this opinion?
I like the presales and meet and greets. Those are about the only upsides. And the LPU 3.0 shirt is godly compared to the LPU 2.0 shirt. So the shirts, presales and meet and greets make LPU worth it for me.
I only join to expand my growing collection of LP stuff. I think the LPU 3.0 shirt is amazing, and although the cd wasn't really much, all the other odds and ends make up for it. I rarely go to the website or forums anymore.
The good thing about the street team is that they only accept true fans and LP benefits from it as well as we do. The only thing is, I have yet to be accepted
The street team? Too bad we're talking about LPU and not the street team. And there are plenty of teenies on the street team.

But don't they choose who gets in? It's pretty exclusive, as far as I know.
They've only chosen new members for the street team one time since it was opened, and that was last February. It's the only time they EVER opened it for members again.

Then why all the teenies?
Because some of them are teenies, just like you. "100% Linkie-Bopper"

It's the same thing. Even Joe said it's the same thing.
Alrighty. Well, alot of people on this board are in their teenage years....that doesn't mean they like them because they think they are "hot"....
the popup hasn't come to me yet! I'll send my name in the email thingy and hope for the best. I'm a teenager, but I'm not a teenie...I don't think. How would u describe a boy teenie for LP and just in general.
Alrighty. Well, alot of people on this board are in their teenage years....that doesn't mean they like them because they think they are "hot"....
Too bad that's what a teenie is--someone who thinks they're hot. Period.
Too bad that's what a teenie is--someone who thinks they're hot. Period.
And you're assuming I think they are hot because I am a female teenager?
No, I'm assuming it because you have "100% Linkie-Bopper" in your sig and Joe defined Linkin Park's teenies as Linkie-Boppers. Putting 2 and 2 together isn't hard.

I didn't realize that Joe said that. Anyway, we're using this thread for our off-topic stuff, so lets give everyone else a chance to talk now...
Maybe if they'd tell more about the stuff you get for being a member, (besides the crappy cd and cool t-shirt) I'd join. edit: What's on the website?
