My computer, i believe, has fried.

How? There was an thunderstorm outside and I was using it to browse forums and stuff. There was this flash outside and then my computer turned off. It wont turn on now. Other computers still work and the power supply unit on the back of my computer still flashes a green light. I dont think I have a Power surge protector but I want to know If there's anything I can do to make it alive once more.

    Any help is appreciated. :)

Desktop or Laptop, and what do you mean by the green light on the back of the power supply. Maybe the laptop/desktop thing will help clarify. Also did you have it plugged into a power bar?

At least it's just the power supply; easily replaceable. Replacing your motherboard, on the other hand, is a bitch. ><

    >< Yeah, I plan on Upgrading my Motherboard and CPU along with..updating my whole Rig.

The power supply was replaceable easily, but..

...>___> Confused me for abit, there was about 1500000000 million extra wires that got me off guard

Surge was the greatest soda ever. I sincerely miss it.

...Oh wait. Seriously though, you're lucky it was just the power supply. You should invest in a surge protector. The one I use is a Belkin that pretty much just looks like an oversized power strip.
