anyone heard about that in every Disney movie theres subliminal messaging somewhere in the movies? well its kinda of a urban myth, anyone heard of this stuff or know any? post it.
I have seen stuff on these urban myths at these websites: Lion King Aladdin The Little Mermaid Rescuers Down Under Interesting stuff...
It's been proven that half if not all that stuff is a lie. Even the penis in the little mermaid. It was simply a drawing error, and not an "irate" animator's revenge.
Sorry to get off topic a little bit, I like it how cartoon network and nickelodeon almost swear in their shows. Like Ed, Edd, and Eddy: Ed: I am a horse Eddy: You're a horse's ...(interupted by neigh sounds) lol
Yeah, thats funny. Like in Spongebob with all the sailor curses lol and all you hear are the whistles blowing and stuff. [/end off topicness]
Well, for our Health Final last year we had to watch the movie ''Alice In Wonderland'' and make our decision if we thought that Alice was taking a holucinative (sp?) drug when she entered ''Wonderland'' Some of it was actually very odd. Alice took some form of bread or pills or something to get smaller so she could fit into a door. Another one was one of the characters was smoking from a tube and blowing smoke in Alice's face while acting very oddly, believing to be using a bong for marijuana. Also a few times through the movie they said ''Let me put it to you bluntly'' or another phrase with the word ''Blunt'', in it. I really don't think Disney put sublimital messages into their movies, I just think that some people have a little bit too much free time on their hands and like to look at child's movies.
It's true, and I know it is. They're not lies. You watch the original edits of each of these movies, not the re-released ones, and you'll see. Especially in Little Mermaid and Aladdin, it's the funniest thing. There's actually a college class you can take here at SIU (Southern Illinois University) that you find things like this. My friend's brother found that in Liar Liarthere is a bowling ball that keeps being moved all over during one scene. Once you'd see it in a mail cart going by, then you see it on Jim Carrey's desk, and you'd see it falling behind him outside the window.
Sometimes, it's just a big joke for those who look carefully at the movies. But other times people may use medias to get people into their cause. And that is pretty scary :chemist: .
And illegal! [/b][/quote] Illegal, yes and no. I mean, they are not gonna yell it right into the movie (their subliminal message). And they can always make it look like if it's not to influence people's opinions.
