Slipknot has set the release date of their upcoming album for May 25th. The album has yet to be named, but one of the new songs, Don't Get Close is set to appear on the soundtrack of an upcoming videogame from game developers Activision. The band is also preparing for headlining this year's Jagermeister tour with Fear Factory and Chimaira, and are highly rumored to take a headlining spot on the second stage of this year's Ozzfest outing.

 

Wow. Cool.

 

There's a kid at my school we call Jagermeister, he looks a Hell of a lot like Corey.

 

Yeah, I heard about all of this awhile ago.


Don't Get Close is a good track

 

The MAIN stage of Ozzfest sounds about right.

 

But Slipknot can't headline the main stage.

 

I don't know why Slipknot is headlining the Second Stage. That's for upcoming bands, and Slipknot are far from that.

Anyone know the current lineup for Ozzfest? I wonder if DevilDriver will be there.

Well, according to billboard.com, Slipknot, Slayer and Judas Priest have all been confirmed for the mainstage this year.
