I have been a fan of their music for many years. Anyone else like their music? Silverchair has put out some awesome singles like, "Freak", "Abuse Me", "Israel's Son", "Cemetery", "Anthem For The Year 2000", "Ana's Song (Open Fire)" and many more great songs. I own all of their albums. Silverchair is one of my all time favorite bands to listen to. Anyone like them?
I only own their first two albums, Frogstomp and Freak Show, and I didn't really like their stuff after that, with the exception of Anthem For the Year 2000, Ana's Song and The Greatest View. My favorite songs are Abuse Me, Israel's Son, Pure Massacre, Cemetery, Tomorrow and Freak. "Throw the sailors overboard, overboard!"
I had never heard any Silverchair before, so I went and downloaded "Ana's Song" and I completely fell in love with it... What's a good album to buy first?
Well, they mature more with each album but they start out heavier so if that's what you're looking for, start with Frogstomp and Freak Show.
Silverchair are ok. I never really listened to them much. The singles didn't make me want to check out more by them.
