As told by my avatar and text thingy below the avatar (what do you call that?), I'm obsessed with the easy to beat game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- The Hyperstone Heist." I have a still functioning genesis and play sonic 1 and 2 sometimes. Anyone else have this system and what games do you play. This is the official thread for sega genesis.
Hey, hey, hey... hold on one second buddy. It's known as the Mega - Drive, okay. Get it? Got it? Good. So, anyway, i love the Mega - Drive, my favorite games have to be the Sonic series ofcourse, my favorites though are Sonic 2, & Sonic & Knuckles. I also enjoyed the Streets Of Rage series, Marble Madness and ofcourse the Mortal Kombat series. Ultimate MK3 was the best. Thjere are loads and loads more i could go into, but i'll let someone else mention them. I've a Mega - Drive 1 & 2 forever, also have the Mega CD add on, aswell as the 32X. I have a Mega - Drive Emulator though which has like every regioned game ever released, so that keeps me occupied. By the way, about the first paragraph, i'm joking. It was just called the Mega - Drive instead of the Genesis over here in the UK. :whistle:
I won three Sega Genesises and they all work perfectly fine. I play them every once in a while. I also own the Sega Disc System (pre-Saturn) that doesn't work.
I was always jealous of my friend when the Genesis first came out because I could never afford one, but I think Sega had good potential back then until you know... The PS2 and next generation consoles burried them. But yeah, I remember the good ol' days, going over to my friend's house to play the Genesis... I still want to own one before I die...
We have a Sega Genesis, but it stopped working quite a while ago. We used to be friends with these kids..and they brought it over to our house..and well, we kinda, stole it I guess. Anyway..they only had easy games, but the game I found myself playing quite a bit was Lion King. Let me note that this was at least 4-5 years ago. That game ruled to me then. Now, we have a PS2, while that one sits in the closet, broken.lol.
Genesis is awesome, had some great games. My favorite, one of the greatest RPG's ever, is Fantasy Star IV. Man that is a great game. Shining Force and Shining in the Darkness were good too. I can't help myself when it comes to good RPGs.
