Since I've been in an all-too-honest mood with my music lately, I've been listening to a lot of acoustic rock. Secondhand Serenade is another amazing band which I was fortunate enough to discover, even if it seems like everyone else has already heard about them. Much like The Apathy Eulogy, whom I've recommended before, and The Scene Aesthetic, the "forerunners" of acoustic rock on MySpace, Secondhand Serenade is nothing but a dude with a guitar and an outstanding voice belting out heartrending songs that you can't help but love. I'd recommend "It's Not Over" and "Vulnerable" for your first listens. They're amazing and really showcase his talents.
Yeah, he's a good artist. I've liked him for a while. Another guy you might like is Ronnie Day. Not sure what his myspace is though, possibly www.myspace.com/ronnieday
I'm liking Vulnerable right now. I've always loved acoustic songs, but I haven't done much research on acoustic artists. Good find!
I listened to one of their songs on someone's Myspace once before, and to be honest it was pretty boring.
