I don't think you're going to get it for under 30 Pounds/Euros. I had my PS2 online for a while, until I realized it wasn't worth the money. I ended up spending $100 on a router, a network adapter, and the necessary cables and such. Basically though, you'll need a router, if the PS2 is far away from your internet source, you'll need a wireless one. You'll need a PS2 Network Adapter, which can be found at many stores. You then hook the router cables and such up to the network adapter, and play! I enjoyed it for a while, because I had one of those unlimited game rental things at Blockbuster, so I could try out all the new games online. But, again, for me, a person who only plays console video games maybe six times a month, it certainly wasn't worth all the money I spent. So, make sure you get the stuff from a store that will let you return it.

first of all, what type of ps2 do you have, one of the first, or the new thin ones? the new thin ones have it built in, so all you have to do us get a CA5 cable and plug it in to your router, other than that you just have to get a Network Adapter and plug and play. You have to load the software of course. I think it's worth it. Playing SOCOM online is a blast. Xbox live is ok, but you do have to pay for it, and the only game there is to play online that's great is Halo 2.
