hmm...i was wondering...what you people think about organ's transplants? would you accept it, if you were seriously ill? me not...but, please, let me know what you all think..thanks.
Indeed I would as well...and as far as the other side of the coin goes, if I were dying and there was 0% chance of survival, I would gladly give life to another person, instead of wasting it on a futile attempt at existence...
maybe i would give my life to another person, but i wouldn't accept to live at all costs..if i'd have to die, i die. the end of the story. i would accept only for some medicines.. tho, it would be some more difficult to me think this way if the ill would be a friend or a relative of mine...i would like to help him/her in any case...
i dont know what i would do. i would feel really bad for that person becuase i took something away from them. but if i was dying or something, i would want to be dead before someone takes my organs, but i would not even think about it if i were still alive, 0% cahnce of survival or not.
If i was criticaly ill and that was the only thing that would save me then yes i would accept a transplant. If i had more to live for and if i was not ready atal to die then, again, yes i would. It is stupid to not accept these things if you really do want to live.
i totally agree. and i am an organ doner y wouldnt you want to accept something that would save your life and the dead person doesnt need anymore....or something taht a wonderfully selfless alive person is willing to give you so you can go on living your paltry little life? i cant imagine giving an organ to someone who i dont know and might not like as a person just so they can go on living w/ my part when i have enough problems as it is? grr i guess im not as caring as those other ppl.
There are some people who would rather just die than have someone else's organ inside their body. I don't know why people are like that, though. If I was dying, I'd definitely take an organ without a second thought.
Yes, I would accept an organ. That'd be foolish to not accept it if you needed it. It's like giving yourself permission to die.

Organ transplants are possible because people voluntarily agreed to donating them. They're donated so that they can be of use to someone else who needs it when it's no longer of use to the donor. I think it's stupid to throw away a chance to live, especially since nobody's getting hurt in the process.
I believe Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions...that could be seen as a transplant of blood...
