Mastodon

I'm not sure what to classify them as really, just kind of Heavy Metal in general, they're quite similar to Unearth...but yeah does anyone else like them...

 

Mastodon is sludge metal (simliar to stoner metal) and I pretty much think they suck.

 

are you thinking of the same Mastodon as me...? becuase I wouldn't classify this as sludge metal...

 

I wouldn't say they were much similar to Unearth, but both are pretty good bands anyway.

Metal-Archives is a really, really great website.

I saw Mastodon at Ozzfest too and the crowd loved them but I thought they were better live than on the album.

 

fair enough can't argue with that. but i'll agree with the fact they're better live.
