The lostprophets have released details of the upcoming UK single for their track "Last Summer" which will arrive in stores on August 23rd. The effort is expected to arrive in three different versions:

    CD 1:
    01 / Last Summer
02 / Sweet Dreams My LA Ex (Rachel Stevens Cover)

    CD 2:
    01 / Last Summer
02 / Reptilia (The Strokes Cover)
03 / In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins Cover)

    7" Colored Vinyl:
    Side A / Last Summer
Side B / Boys Don't Cry (The Cure Cover)

The band will also hit the road soon with Eighteen Visions and Midtown and are expected to announce another new North American tour shortly after which they will be touring in the UK in November.

I want to hear that Strokes cover. I hate the Strokes, but lostprophets are great at covering bands, and the instrumentals for that song are pretty good.

I didn't understand any of that post.

Those are just the CD singles for the UK. They're going to have CD singles for the US and other places as well.

Will they? A lot of bands don't release CD singles in the US anymore...and even if they do, they're (often) hard to find.

    What the hell...

I mean, why Rachel Stevens? That's so heavy, they should try covering Morbid Angel or Deicide instead :p

I think Lost Prophets should cover Faith No More, since Ian could imitate Mike Patton's voice pretty well
