A teeniebopper is a trend-follower or someone obsessed by people's look (as you said they like the band for everything else than the music). There is no age to be such kind of fan, so in fact the teenie is because most of the people that do so are a couple of teens that break the reputation of everyone else that isn't a teeniebopper...
