I have a lot of extensions and was wondering if they made firefox run slower if they were not in use at the time.

i have alot of ext. and i haven't noticed a difference.

i have adblock, foxytunes, tabbrowser prefrences, download manager tweak, play launch, customize google, no script, IE view, and gtranslate.

having alot of ext. shouldn't affect that much

I don't think they would slow down Firefox. Possibly if you had a whole lot. (EX. 6,125.)

I only use IEView and BugMeNot.

Having a lot of extensions only slows down the time it takes to open up Firefox, other than that, I haven't noticed any difference in browsing speed.
