There was never a fast reply on the LPA.

However, we've been looking in to implementing the feature when we upgrade the forum software.

vBulletin isn't that good for forum software. IPB is the most feature-packed and is basically the best forum software out there.

I don't really get fast replys. All I need to do is press the regular reply button.. Not that hard to me. But- I guess it wouldn't be that bad.

It takes away the amount of clicks needed to reply to a topic. It was basically implemented into forum software with 56K users in mind.

Invision Power Board 1.3+ has Fast Reply as standard....

IPB 2.0.0 PDR1 just came out *nudges root admin*
i'd upgrade this board once a stable version of 2.0 comes out.

You sound like you're a salesman for vBulletin. I'm sorry but we will never, ever, use vBulletin on these forums. Especially since we have a nice pricing deal with Invision at the moment.

    Enough said.

Aside from newer plug-ins for Invision, we'd look 'cooler' because we'd be all updated and stuff like that .

What pricing deal? You're actually getting a very similair deal. LPA is using a "Trial" version of IPB (actually, I wouldn't know, since the trial/registered versions were distinguished after the 1.1.2 stages). Anyways, vBulletin is not a bad forum software by any means. But the availability of IPB is simply unbeatable.

Also, for those who're all about the "new version of IPB". It's not smart to put it to use here on LPA just yet, especially at thr 2.0.0 stage, and i'm more than sure that's why Alex hasn't implemented it yet. It's probably really buggy at this stage of development, and IPB even warns the users that it's not a reliable source for a forum of this magnitude (LPA).
