I liked it at first but then realized how flawed it was. He just doesn't sound the same anymore these days. The lyrical content lacks, his flow and rhyme schemes feel forced and awkward. Plus the beats he chose for Recovery didn't suit his style at all imo... he sounded out of his element. I'm still looking forward to the Bad Meets Evil EP that's coming out next month. Maybe working with Royce will spark some old fire in Em.
I dont mind it. It was a fresh breath of air compared to Relapse which was horrible imo. He was at the top of his game with Eminem Show. Thats imo and according to sales as well.
Recovery was more of a "fun" album than a "good" album for me. I'm also excited for the Bad Meets Evil EP. I think 'Fast Lane' is a decent track.
Recovery is awesome IMO, although it seems like he is being too passionate with the way he spits rhymes but songs like "Not Afraid", "25 To Life" (My favorite) and "Love The Way You Lie" are my great. Another great achievement I would say.
This definitely. I enjoyed Recovery at first. It was a lot better than Relapse, but at the same time, most of what Recovery talked about was either how bad Relapse was, or the loss of his friend, Proof.
