Could anyone lead me to a place to find audio drivers for an on board soudcard for a pentium 4 dell. The model number is PHS and the referance # is 01100. I've tried google, and it just kept giving me chinese sites.. X_X
You can sign up for an account on Dell's website and download drivers there. They supply drivers which are already loaded onto their PCs, so you should be able to find what you're looking for there.
Thanks I'm doing this for my dad, but since he wrote down the specs all sloppy Im not sure of what to get,.. But thanks very very much for the info. I'll find it when I go home
support.dell.com Choose drivers and downloads >> then service tag (middle) and input the 8 digit alphanumerical service tag located on your case on a sticker marked dell. That'll bring up all the drivers for your system. Is it bad I knew that without going to the site? I bet Dell misses my superior tech skills now ...On a side note, I'm glad I quit, because Dell just canceled their new Ottawa site (500 lost jobs) and laid off 1200 people across Ottawa, Edmonton and Texas. I'd strongly suggest not buying Dell products in the future because: 1 - They're very shady about their business with consumers 2 - They're all about money and they could care less about their employees, leading to poor service and finally 3 - They just outsourced a LOT of their business to Manilla.
You actually don't have to input your service tag unless you need something really specific. At least, I've never had to. I could be wrong, though. But you're right, I hate my Dell. If I could, I'd just sell all the parts for money.
Okay, back to a more serious question guys. Could someone please help me find Audio/Video drivers for an HP Pavilion laptop model number ze5145, i can find drivers for winxp but i'm looking for 2000 drivers. do they even exist? hha. Many thanks to those who read this and are willing to help.
Are you sure it's ze5145, I can only get results with the last 5 removed. Edit - does this look like it? http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Images/c00189310.jpg
I believe that's it yes.. Man, I don't see how someone could get so much malware on their system. I had to format the entire thing, and they lost their damn XP recovery disk.. haha
