I was just wondering whether Damageplan plan to continue with a new guitarist or do they plan to split

Dimebag was Damageplan's soul. No way his brother will keep on with Damageplan.

well if they did...it wouldnt be the same. but i think it would be good for them. a new release might help them to get back on track, and help them deal with the loss of dimebag

They could go on without Dimebag if they wanted to, but I'm not sure how well loyal fans of Pantera/Damageplan would handle it.

I think that they should change their name if they continue, mainly because they'll be a different band. I think that if this is truly what they want to do, then nothing should stop them.

You can't be held back by someone's death. At some point or another, you have to just move on. There's no point on dwelling on it. What happen is done. There is no changing that.

I wasn't a fan of Damageplan, but if they do go on with their career, I wish them the best of luck. I know it's going to be hard without Dimebag there, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Vinnie Paul drop off of the band sometime down the line.

Dimebag wasn't the heart & soul of Damageplan/Pantera like everyone says. In my opinion, I don't think it's possible (or right) for one member of a band to be given sole responsibility for carrying a band. Every member of those bands was the heart & soul of the respective bands.
