Mike said it perfectly - Chester isn't just that guy from Linkin Park, you guys...he's a person; a human being like myself and the rest of you.

"I want him to get better so I can see him perform."

Although I know you guys love Linkin Park and say that because you're fans, take into the fact that Chester's sick and the last thing he wants is a remark like that. How about,

"I want him to get better."

I'm not being rude or anything, I'm just saying we shouldn't be so greedy and think more about Chester as being a regular person, instead of that ass-kicking vocalist of Linkin Park.

 

I agree with you 100 precent man. I mean, I want him to get better, but I can't make him. And if it takes a few months, so be it. I never really thought of him as more than a normal human being with his own issues and health problems. And I respect his privacy, too. I would never be obsessive enough to try and actually contact him. He doesn't know me personally, so it would be like a stranger calling him up and going "OMFG HI CHESTER GET BETTER!!!!!!111". That would scare the #### out of me if I was in his position.

Plus, it's not only effecting Chester. It's effecting the band, his wife and his family. I'm sure a lot of people are worried about him. The best thing to do is just keep putting forth good thoughts and not bawling about a situation we can't fix (and yes there are fans literally crying about this).

I couldn't agree with you more. I hate people who, when they see a famous person at a mall or something, run over and cause a scene. Let the have their privacy, theyre human as well. Chester will get better but until then he needs his privacy...

I hear that. Chester to me has always been like a god, and right now all i care about is for him to get better, cause being sick and in pain sucks, and no one wants that for Chester. I think he should take off as much time as he needs, even if it means cancelling a lot of tour dates. We dont want him like collapsing onstage or anything. And plus, it'll give him more time to spend with his wife and Draven and thats a good thing.
