Buckethead is probably one of the best guitarist's in the world with his crazy playing and style. He is loved by all because of his care for chickens. That's right! Chickens! He was born in a chicken coop and he hates KFC cause they kill chickens! But anyways, he has a super soft side of music that makes you wanna cry. That's because he's the wonderful Buckethead.

One of my favourite artists of all time and simply a virtuoso guitarist.

That said, alot of his stuff is similar sounding and after 30 or so albums, his sound is getting a little worn out.

Yeah, I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to Buckethead. I don't own but one CD of his physically (Cuckoo Clocks of Hell), but that's not saying much since I tossed my entire CD collection about a month ago. It's a digital world, and a hell of a lot more cheaper. I digress.

I have about 40+ albums of his, I'm missing a few. He's like Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, but on a crack. He's a rapid fire solo artist who releases like 6 albums a year. Luke is correct when he says after that many albums over a span on so many years, it all begins to sound the same. But that doesn't change the fact that he's quite the amazing guitarist. The one time I was EVER interested in Guns 'N Roses was because of Buckethead. I think the gimmick of Buckethead is silly and pointless sometimes, but if it was just another dude laying down tracks with a guitar, I think it would have gotten old a lot quicker.

I think my absolute favorites are Giant Robot and Electric Tears. Cuckoo Clocks is pretty fucking heavy, I love that one during the summer when I'm driving, it just has that crunch that I love while speeding down a stretch of country road. I'm weird.

All of that said, I'd trade all of his solo work for a dedicated Praxis. I love that fucking band.
