another song i wrote about two years ago. just recorded a remixed version of it today. if you want to hear it check out the myspace in my sig.

    Blind

    [Verse 1]

Sometimes I wonder why we disrespect the female race
As if we preaching hate, you ask why I interrogate
Mental state break down turn around and you’ll see
The world is dominated by men and their greed
I say, if we really do love our women
We should hug our women, give back rubs to our women
But to me it seems that we hate our women
Since we rape our women, the ones that make our children
If we really want to be sweet to them
Why do we beat them? Instead be real to them
Most of us are educated, so y’all got class
Why you focused on tappin’ slappin’ and smackin’ that back
I ask if they’re human beings, shouldn’t we be equal
We let some degrade themselves wearing clothes that are see-through
Not surprised to see them associate guys with deceit
Because we don’t appreciate and give them what they need

    [Chorus]

    I am blind, and I can’t see
Why we be treating our women like property
Why we be treating our women like property
Why we be treating our women like property
I am blind, but I now see
Supposedly our free democracy’s full of hypocrisy
Supposedly our free democracy’s full of hypocrisy
Supposedly our free democracy’s full of hypocrisy

    [Verse 2]

Media affects the way these pretty ladies dress
It seems everyday we see less and less
While most guys are loving this, it’s making me sick
Not only is it affecting teens but also the kids
They see these images of perfect-sized figures
Impossible to obtain, but making industry richer
Consuming different foods, shopping at different stores
Won’t be long before some of these women become whores
It saddens me that this is the way society
Allows women to be mistreated, some of them feel defeated
Tired of this madness, it’s time to take a stand
We need to grow together every boy, girl, woman and man
No need to separate, segregate, violate, dominate
Frustrate or fluctuate between love and hate
Equality is what we need, it’s easy to visualize
But the world is looking behind two blind eyes

    [Chorus]

    [Verse 3]

Look beyond the surface, inner beauty is so deep
So unique are lips as well as the words they speak
Facial features are nothing compared to what’s inside the soul
That’s what truly makes every woman a whole
I know that as time goes, inner beauty only grows
Through mind body and soul, the natural flow
Seek the good-natured heart, it’s not measured by the rack
Judged by looks? It ain’t worth that it’s not a good match
Take a second pay attention listen closely
The more you disrespect women chances are you’ll end up lonely
Either change, rearrange: refrain from being the same
Or take the blame for leaving your name broken in shame
Your own mother is a woman, do you disrespect her?
Then why you disrespect all other women in this world?
Wake up stop being a fool and learn to feel blessed
By the presence of a woman when she’s all you got left

    [Chorus] (x2)
