i've just stepped on the 'ipod' wave that has swept, what seems to be, the whole world.

i just got a new cd player in my car that comes with its own 'ipod' docking port, and i didnt have an ipod. so it figured that i needed an ipod so i got one with my christmas money :)

its one of these 8gb Nano' and to be honest i didnt think i would like it. i was always a Creative person and i already had a 8gb Zen MircoPhoto which is amazing.. but i was pleasantly surprised.. its really quite good!

..the ipod is great for my car, and holds pretty much all of my cd collection, but im stuck on one thing. you can somehow have the album cover showing when the track is playing. thing is, all of my albums dont have this. the option for it is there but i was wonderig how you'd pair up the tracks on the cd to the image? theres just a 'grey square' to the left-hand-side of the screen with a 'note' in it. is there anything i can do?

sorry if this is a really daft question, and if you've answered it a thousand times before :/

    thanks in advance :)

Apples uses embedded album art, ignoring the art in the folder, which I find stupid as foobar does both. You can either do it manually [look in the song properties, album art tab at the top] or I think there's a program that would do it for you. Can't recommend you one, sorry.
