It's been awhile since we had a thread about them, and I know there are a lot of fans here, so...discuss!

Favorite album? Favorite song? Anyone seen them live?

Very unique but lots of their songs get annoying real quick.

This Celluloid Dream would be my favorite.

    The whosey whatsit?

I like AFI, but I don't listen to them all the time. My favorite song is "The Leaving Song (Part 2)." I have all their old albums, too. I haven't really listened to them, though.

Cladestine was a DVD AFI released before Sing the Sorrow came out that makes very little sense. It is suspected to be mostly metaphorical. I haven't watched it, but there's basically a conspiracy theory involving Cladestine, the 336 EP and STS.

The whole thing confuses me

I love AFI. I can't decide which album is my favourite.
Some of my favourite songs are: Dancing Through Sunday, Porphyria, The Prayer Position, Death of Seasons, God Called In Sick Today, This Celluloid Dream and Paper Airplanes (makeshift wings)

Favorite album is probably Sing the Sorrow.
Favorite song...any of these, depending on my mood: This Time Imperfect, Ever and a Day, Morningstar, and This Celluloid Dream.

I haven't seen the Cladestine thing. So no comment.

That's the way I feel about Evanescence songs. There get irritating really quickly because they're too overplayed. I'll make a post about a.f.i. after school, I don't have the time at the moment. :D

a.f.i. is most likely my second favorite band of all time. I fell in love with their music when I received "Sing the Sorrow" for Christmas. My favorite aspect of a.f.i.'s music is their lyrics. When I listen to Sing the Sorrow, I get lost in the words. They're pretty powerful in my mind.

I haven't listened to any of their early stuff, except the song, "This Silent Ninja". As soon as I save up enough of my money to splurge, a.f.i. CDs will be one of the first on my list.

Favorite CD: Sing the Sorrow (seeing as it's the only one I own, or have had the chance to listene to!)
Favorite Song: paper airplanes (makeshift wings); This song puts me in such an awesome mood. And But Home is Nowhere... and Death of Seasons. :D

Sing the sorrow is good, because the vocals are better and the lyrics are beautiful, but very proud of ya makes all the albums seem like crap, sorry to be so negative

Fav song: Advances in modern technology
