Ive seen the track listing for lpunderground 2.0 and i noticed a song called A.06 what is this?
Does anybody know the lyrics if it has any at all?

 

No it has no lyrics. I believe it was a B-Side Intro for Meteora, but was never used on the CD. It was also used for intro videos for the LP website prior to Meteora's release.

 

Was it the one that had sounds like one of those oldskool games on a snes? cos if it was then i think i got part of me and that on one track

 

Nope, its a guitar riff. A very hard-sounding riff for LP...one of my favorite songs by them.

 

Yeah same here, it's one of my favourites too. I thought it made brilliant background music for those 03-03 intros. I was a little disappointed when it wasn't on Meteora but still at least we got it in the end!

 

thats ambient the secret track from HTEP i thought it sounded it like a video game as well

A.06 was used on the tv adds for the release of meteora. at least i think it was

i like it - joes deck solo at the begining is why i think. the heaviness of the guitar is also pretty cool. its unlike any track off the album

in all a great 60seconds or so by LP

 

Energetic Guitar riff but it's nicely capped off with Joe's scratching.

 

LP should have made A.06 into an acctual song. DO the same thing they did with Points Of Authority. Take the gutair riffs and break them down. Then add lyrics.

My Own Summer is a Deftones song that was written like 10 years ago. It has nothing to do with A.06, although I guess the riffs are a little similar...

Wow, the one I have is 2:42, so I'm guessing it's the same song. Does it start with this really faint drum tapping and scratching sound? Sorry for all the questions, I just never knew I owned this particular song.

 

I don't have the source, but according to Mike, it was an unfinished song by Linkin Park and it sounded really cool to them, so they decide to just cut and paste into an instrumental and release it via LP underground. (A.06) and it most certainly does kick ass.

 

I know it was used to promote Meteora back before it came out. Lp.com showed a girl spray painting while the song played and "3.25" came up on the screen to promote the release date, good times

 

It's really heavy metal, but I like it.

GiriosXeni - I've heard A.06 on LP Newscaster several times, so I think that's what they use.
