Mike looks so pissed at 00:50
I guess the guys were like 'WTF?' when Joe put up the powder idea.

Okay can somebody tell me why all these LPTV episodes are in monochrome? :(
The tour ones are surely going to be in colour no?

That's their new style, I think they were kind of fed up with all those colors after the music video.

Dave and Joe both have dry humor. The best kind to have.

Brad looked pissed with the idea but eh! He should know how Joe loves to "punish" them one way or another, lol!

I feel bad for the guys. You could tell a few of them (mostly Chester due to vocals in the studio) were very concerned about breathing this stuff in.

This was good but we need to see more in the makings. We haven't even seen a glimpse of them recording parts or working on Burning In The Skies, Robot Boy, Wretches and Kings, and the interludes.

    We will.

I have a feeling the DVD was deliberately short. They're going to use the footage we didn't see to keep us busy over the next couple of months. Smart choice if you ask me.

Feels like filler lptv episode. I was expecting they would show something more recent, like how the band was getting ready for the tour and rehearsals.

    I hope you are right!

We'll get that maybe two or three weeks after the tour has begun - they are always kind of 'late' for that type of things.

I'm surprised they're still releasing The Catalyst video sesh stuff so late after the album release. Excited for some really good making of the album ones! And I'm pretty sure they have yet to mention Burning In the Skies in any way on any of their stuff yet (interviews and videos).

I concur. The purpose of the DVD was to show the other side of making the album, on a more emotional basis, and not on a "making of" basis. I think that's why I enjoyed it quite a bit. Plus getting more LPTVs is perfectly fine with me, and maybe we might get another season of LPTV put on iTunes. But one can only hope, right?

I agree with you. It's just one side of making any album.
