Ah yeah, those are the days. Back when Hip Hop had more soul than what it does now. What are some of your favorite old school hip hop songs/artists/albums? Right now I'm kinda diggin The Choice Is Yours by Black Sheep.

Lil Wayne. Naw seriously though
2001? Fuck it, old school enough. It's got that feel to it. (Also I love how my two posts so far have the bases covered- East coast, west coast, across the pond, and Canada. I didn't plan this, I'm just kickass and unprejudiced)
I'll take anything 92-96 tbh. Any Wu from that time is a classic record. Period. One of my favorite albums most people never heard of is Black Moon - Enta Da Stage. I highly recommend it to any old school heads out there!
Some people seem full of themselves in this thread. Bone Thugs: the only people who can say they collaborated with 2pac, Biggie, AND Eazy E before their untimely demises.
Time for some classic NWA
African American Individuals With Attitude. Corny as shit but it gave birth to a legendary sample. Listen to this, then listen to the intro to Don't Stay. Sound familiar?
