New York - A Thousand Suns Release Show Tonight

I'd rather kill myself than go to a show that had What I've Done as the last song in the setlist. Anywhere in the setlist is a mistake, much less the last song. Why end with a song that is generic and uneventful?

 

What I've Done for closer? no. Maybe for an opener, but The RequiRadiance is already better.

I would've played BitS, and of course WHEN THEY COME FOR ME. Oh my god.

Also, I would've had a LPgasm if Mike sang No Roads Left.

 

So wheres this multi media never before seen technology for the show

 

It was a quick show, just meant to be something small. I don't think we should look into it too much as something we will be seeing in the coming months, when the A Thousand Suns World Tour starts.

 

This setlist looks pretty fcking awesome to me. Can hardly wait for the U.S. tour!!

I wish chester could sing the hybrid theory and meteora songs like he used too, Breaking the habit is the only one that he can sing good

Videos are awesome. My god, LP is in top form.

 

A few words cause I am dead tired after a long day, a trip to the city, the show, and a trip back.

The show was awesome. I was expecting a full set-list, but understand that this was just a short show to celebrate the release of the CD.

Opening was awesome - The Requiem/The Radiance was nice, they glitched up Oppenheimer a lot on the radiance and it had a great effect. New Divide started after that and it was history from there. The whole band was very on point for the whole show and the acoustics in that theater were fantastic - every song sounded great.

Wretches was really fun live, and I personally loved jornada del muerto/waiting for the end.
IDK if its just me, but for some reason The Catalyst sounded a little flat to me but other than that the whole experience was great. Was so happy I could go. Plan on writing a more complete review tomorrow

And when they all sing together on Iridescent it is freaking amazing!

The Catalyst sounded good too, but I couldn't hear that one as well as the others. I didn't really bother watching the ones that weren't on the new album, we've seen them like a million times anyways. lol

Oh yeah, I got chills in Iridescent watching the whole band sing together live. So. Epic.

 

OMG. Wretches and Kings live = orgasm.
