It's A Catalyst Christmas is a christmas-themed The Catalyst remix that I am working on. It will be released around Thanksgiving-December just in time for the holiday season. It will contain a few of the stems such as the drums, keyboard, and vocals, but will have plenty of new additions such as jingle bells, wind blowing sounds, audio clips from christmas movies, and a holiday breakdown. As a bonus, you get to check out a preview of one track. Tracklist: 01. Radiance Of A Thousand Lights [1:16] An intro to the single, includes an edited clip of a Robert Oppenheimer speech, and the music in the background is "Frosty Frolics" from the Donkey Kong Country 3 original soundtrack. 02. It's A Catalyst Christmas [5:02] Opens up with a slow dreamy synth and jingle bells. Has an edited beat using the piano stem and electronic drum stem, with the use of bells in the background. Then it morphs into a slower "Silent Night" section with no beat at all. The drum beat fades in for a fast paced christmas beat and then it slows down for the use of audio clips from "Frosty The Snowman". It end's with Santa Claus' voice turning dark and robotic.
I just think it would be cool to have a holiday remix displayed on the front page the day of the holiday. Maybe I can work on this stuff.
Racist? I don't see how. It's like saying yeah I hate black pens, "oh that's racist". I know it was a joke, but I never once thought racist. Black cats..halloween..anyone?
Do it in the theme song of This is Halloween and maybe I'll listen to it. I'm not a big fan of fanmade remixes.
I updated the description of the christmas remix. I dropped the Halloween one for now. There will be more stuff added later.
I don't know when i'm putting this out yet. I made three demos, and all three of them I disliked. I'm working more on my other project, but for this, I don't know when anything will come. There should be a preview snippet or a stem (such as instrumental clip or something) to help you get an idea of what the song will be.
That would be better. I like the idea you had, and I want to see it executed. Maybe you could hold it off until Christmas.
I have to be totally honest with you I see no meaning for the speech to be in that track..... BUT it sounds cool.
