well its out in australia....the "special edition" that i paid $30 through lp.com is available for $22 in JB hifi i just saw, and even though i 'preordered' i didnt get it before anyone, the email linking me to the download isnt sent yet... so why did i preorder there again?lol shouldve just walked in to the store and picked one up...
Are you f**king serious? :x Wow. I don't know if I'll ever pre-order from linkinpark.com again after this experience, but I'm still glad I did it this time - word on the street is, WB doesn't get much (if anything) out of what I've paid ...
No one ever said the pre-order would get the album before anyone else. But if you found it cheaper somewhere else, that sucks.
but isnt the point of the mp3 download so you get it before everyone else? i never got wretches on kings via email too btw. yeh thats the last time im buying from there.
I'm not scheduled to get it until the 15th... But I'll do it again if I had to. You're supporting the band, and it's nice of them to send the mp3 version as insurance. If I didn't know how to ignore promises on the internet, now I do. Wholey fuck.
I agree with you on the problem that we never listened to previews before anyone else. But, didn't they say , and correct me I'm wrong, that if you pre-order through linkinpark.com that you'll be able to order concert tickets before they were sold to the public?
I was just going to say that I got the email download around 8:30 on the 9th, and today I got the album delivered to me. I was expecting it to take a couple of days but it really surprised me. This makes up for the Wretches and Kings late email. Really pleasantly surprised.
I'm pretty sure I pre-ordered on the US site, but I got all the emails about wretches & kings and shipping from Melbourne, and i got the email download for the whole album on the 9th. I havn't got my hard copy of the album delivered yet, but I was just assuming that's because it's a weekend
i'm just unhappy about the whole ordeal of pre-ordering and having to wait till the day after the release to receive my package......this better be wrong because I'm unsatisfied as a customer. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but it can be slightly understandable that a fan can expect to get the album at least the day of the release from a pre-order....i mean at least. It's only fair, but the day after. That's just unrealistic. If anything LP.com should have received the shipment first so they should easily be able to deliver to us before Amazon.
