Yeah, fortunately there doesn't seem to have been as much of people making that assumption here more recently. If it gets mentioned in this thread it's probably because there are comments there where people are practically saying that's the case with them, haha.

 

The thing I hate the most, and I think I've said it before, is all the people that constantly call Linkin Park "nu-metal." That genre was just made up to put a spin on different bands. Nu-metal never really existed, just look at bands now. What band that was called nu-metal survived doing the same shit over and over again? Record companies realized that it was stupid and pretty much just stopped slapping that label on their unwilling acts.

Well I figured it'd be obvious to post a news link in a thread for reporting news, not in a topical thread.

That and it seems a lot of the people who have been doing this lately don't recognize that there's a Got News thread in LP Chat. And it seems the old 'LP sightings' thread is elsewhere.

 

I mean, the person who posted that could just make a thread about it instead of posting it in one it has nothing to do with. The news thread would probably be better than other places but I don't know if that'd be considered newsworthy.

I keep forgetting how hostile LP fans can get. I just can't wait till the album drops, LPA; you guys better have your servers ready because I think you are going to get tons of traffic when that album drops. From negatives to praises. But I know ur going to get all the blinded non open minded fans comin in here crying their hearts out... I can smell it lol.
